The weather in Vienna in April can be unpredictable, with some days being sunny and mild, while others can be cold and overcast. It is not uncommon to experience some rain during this month, so it is a good idea to pack accordingly, with warm layers and a waterproof jacket. The average precipitation in April is around 50 mm. Vienna City Marathon – 40th Jubilee
The 2023 Vienna marathon takes place on Sunday, April 23rd. This will be the 40th Jubilee edition.
The main race, half-marathon, and relay marathon all begin at 9am. Other events and races may take place earlier in the weekend.
