I was invited to Ibiza for a short stay at the wonderful island Ibiza, located in the Balearic sea, Spain. It was a very special invitation as I was able to cruise – and enjoy – three days at the Midori (Japanese for green) luxury yacht, a brand new and unique 300+ square meter sailing loft catamaran

Spacious as a superyacht
The kind of comfort one would normally expect to find on a superyacht. With immense social areas and a zen spirit, the Owner’s inspiration for building this catamaran with Sunreef Yachts was to create a harmoniously conceived yacht reflecting the tranquility and moderation of the Japanese aesthetics and philosophy.
MIDORI’s floors and deck are entirely clad in teak wood; she features an immense flybridge of topped with an elegant bimini. This area is fitted with a bar, a large sofa and mattresses to obtain a vast dining and lounging space. The yacht’s front terrace is the place to relax on large sun pads or to enjoy a soak in the Jacuzzi.
MIDORI’s vast saloon surrounded with full-height windows, spanning the whole living space. Ample storage spaces and kitchen appliances are discretely covered with black matte panels found over the entire area of the main room.
A Chef’s paradise
The front area is occupied by the full width Galley with cooking island and a total of 18 meters of working space. Refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers and Miele kitchen appliances are cleverly integrated under the countertops. No matter if you love to cook for yourself or you bring your private Chef themselves all you want as much work space as possible to prepare.
Relax in Silence
If you’re looking for energy and light, you’ll find enough of it on the forecastle, which is equipped with an ergonomically designed Jacuzzi, on the trampolines between the hulls or on the top of the carbon-bimini covered fly-bridge. The sun terrace offers ample space for elegant lounge furniture, a dining table for al fresco dinners and a barbecue and bar area on the same floor space as the salon below. The mast stand is also solidly reinforced on the fly bridge. So no mast execution disturbs the open interior. “
Spacious luxurious cabins
The boat will sleep eight guests in the comfort of three cabins and one master suite, each with a unique colour scheme. All cabins feature clever storage, retractable TV’s, Fosgate speakers and ample private bathrooms in sintered quartz. The Owner’s cabin benefits from a dressing area, a desk, TV and a generous master bathroom.
The Crew
The MIDORI has up to 4 crew-members on-board, including a Spanish captain who will know all the best spots in the Balearic to cruise. They will make every effort to ensure the charter runs smoothly and guests have an incredible time aboard!
A garage full of Toys
Below the main deck MIDORI has a garage packed with stuff to play. When opening the garage, a platform is created to easily access all the toys that are stored in there and getting on the water. Everything you need to play all day on the water.

Midori (Japanese for green) is a stately sailing 68-footer Sunreef Supreme 68 model that has brought a big breath of fresh air in the boating world.
With a total living space of 300 Sqm is one of the most unique yachts for charter in Ibiza and Mallorca.
A luxurious floating apartment, this Sunreef Supreme 68 opens new horizons for living at sea. Midori’s vast saloon surrounded with full-height windows spans over 65m² of smartly used living surface. Its bow section features a large galley stretching over the room’s entire width. The space under the centrally placed countertop conceals fridges, freezers, a wine cooler and a Hoshizaki cube ice maker. Ample storage spaces and kitchen appliances are discretely covered with black matte panels found over the entire bow area of the main room. The central countertop neighbors a large dining table with seating for eight. A customized Devialet loudspeaker is at hand to set the mood.
