Camera – Keep your memories much longer……
Smartphones have proven to be better than bigger cameras in capturing holiday moments. They are smaller and lighter, don’t need an extra bag to protect them.
The triple-lens system now comprises a 12-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a variable aperture that can switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4, as well as a new 16-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide 123-degree lens, which enables epic landscape shots, ultra wide panoramas or family photos
Comparison between the 3 Lenses of the Samsung Galaxy S10+
In the case of the S10+ Samsung added an Ultra wide-angle lens and there really is no scenario where the S10+ cannot help you shoot great photos and videos.
From tourist shots of ancient architecture and towering skyscrapers, the 0.5x zoom means you won’t have to keep retreating away from the subject to get the ideal shot, and the 2x optical zoom is likely to be popular with those who take photos at concerts and want to give the impression they were in the front row, whilst simultaneously avoiding the squeeze. In both cases, photo quality seems to be retained very well.

And an 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4. This enables 0.5x wide-angle shots, as well as 2x optical zoom. Both modes are really easy to access with a single tap on a small pop-up that appears in the default camera mode – these new additions feel genuinely useful.
Galaxy S10+’s easy-to-use camera is equipped with five lenses, two on the front and three on the back to easily capture every shot and angle through telephoto (with two times optical zoom), wide angle, ultra-wide for selfies or portraits.
the Live Focus that can adds an artificial bokeh-style blur, a partial gray-scale filter, or a swirling blur to the background behind your chosen subject. Fun, but not really essential.
If you need a smartphone camera that’s going to give you great results almost every time just by pointing and shooting, the Galaxy S10+ passes with flying colours. If you need to dig deeper and take more control over your shots, the Galaxy S10+ can do that too.
AI and Low-Light Camera Features
AI plays an even bigger role in the camera than it did before. Now, the S10’s camera tells you how to compose your photos. And the Low-Light performance is fantastic. Have a look!

Long battery life & Wireless PowerShare:
The Galaxy S9+ got me through most of a day, but I was very surprised to see the S10+ has now 4.100 mAh battery capacity so easily getting me through a full busy day with still capacity remaining. I did not expect such great battery life so it’s a benefit that is sure to please though using the S10+ for field work.
The Galaxy S10+ also supports Wireless PowerShare, which means the phone can be used to charge other devices – that’s a skill the Galaxy S9+ certainly can’t match.
Samsung’s OLED panels are fantastic and it’s no surprise we see one of the best ever on the Galaxy S10+. The hole punch front-facing camera opening doesn’t bother me and enjoying video on the full screen of the S10+ is a glorious experience.
