Do you know what is the purpose of your life? What gives your life and work a sense of meaning?

From my experience, I think it’s important to be clear about your purpose and your core values, as they will guide you in the next chapter of your life. Being clear about who you truly are and where you are heading is the only way in which you can make a positive difference for yourself and the world around you.

In March 2021 I had the opportunity to attend a 3-day Leadership workshop. It was like a journey into my inner wealth. It helped me to stop, think and reflect and dive into my inner abundance, clarity and creativity as well as a space for transformation. Mindset, values, barriers and visions were highlighted during the workshop and a concrete action plan was drawn up in order to let my talents flow into sustainable results.

Here are the Top Reasons Why YOU MUST attend Erika Maria Kleestorfer’s Transformational Leadership Journey-Workshop.

The Oxford Leadership SML-Process

One part of the 3-day workshop is a powerful 10-step process that helped us in a very structured way to identify our purpose, values and vision in order to define the focus and character which defines our leadership.

Based on this process we developed our individual implementation plan focusing on the few important things which have the largest impact, for both personal and professional development.

The Selection of participants – Opportunities to expand your network

Building new relationships and meeting new connections are very important to personal growth.

As Erika Maria Kleestorfer always carefully selects the people within the TLJ workshops it gives you the best opportunity to meet other people who share your interests. It is always a pleasure to meet someone with the same enthusiasm that you do. Attending the workshop was a great way to meet other wonderful people in my area with shared interests and values. It is not, of course, a guarantee that a friendship will flourish but it never hurts trying. You will at least be able to find a friend and somebody who knows your “talk shop”.

A great space for transformational experiences

If you are attending an intense 3-day workshop you definitely need a great place and perfect facilitations available to do the exercises, activities and challenges designed to help build your confidence in presenting your words, your ideas, your feelings, yourself.

Here is a list of my personal favorites I experienced through the workshop

  • Notebook for the 3 days
  • Handouts (cards) – a special items like “Love Cards”
  • Huge screen display for presentation
  • Jukebox for nice and relaxing – background-music
  • A huge water carafe for each participant 😉
  • Wonderful Tulip Flowers in the middle
  • Bar with coffee and rolls, confectionery
  • Pinboard for the creative ideas and Brainstorming
  • Great view of St. Stephen’s Cathedral
  • Excellent service by Susanne
  • Purpose book (Erika wrote with colleagues) for all participants
  • Breakfast & lunch service
  • Beautiful pictures of a great Viennese artist Paul Landerl (Link) in the whole office

The Follow-up process and Action Plan

In many workshops you end up with a “To-do List” and a lot of “Good-Will” but honestly you forget about it when there is no structure or process to follow-up.

Not in Erika’s Leadership workshop. There are couple of things provided which really helped me to put the things into work the following weeks

  1. Concrete Action Plan with (SMART) Goal Settings
  2. Buddy Setup: Two members of the workshop form a team which meets on a regular basis to follow-up the progress of their action-plans. My Buddy and I have every 2 weeks our ‘Friday- 1h- Zoom Call’. This really helps to share and openly discuss the good progress and to identify the things that need further improvement. I very much appreciate the ongoing feedback we give each other on the way (And feedback which is very important to me).
  3. Follow-up Material with all the presentation and photos of the workshop was sent after the workshop to all participants
  4. A workshop WhatsApp Group which has been established for all participants where we share our progress, questions, ideas and success stories.
  5. Encouragement, inspiration and support from Erika in the WhatsApp group

My most important takeaways

For me the workshop was a real game changer in my life. I would love to share my top inspirations.

“The Golden Circle” – Simon Sinek

Simon Sinek presents a simple but powerful model for how leaders inspire action, starting with his golden circle and the question “Why?”  His examples include Apple, Martin Luther King, and the Wright brothers — and as a counterpoint Tivo, which (until a recent court victory that tripled its stock price) appeared to be struggling.

Tony Robbins Daily Priming Exercise

Your MORNING ROUTINE has a lasting impact on the rest of your day. Use this 15-min PRIMER as a preparation tool to start the day FOCUSED, ENERGIZED, CREATIVE, CENTERED and CONNECTED to your ultimate outcomes.

And I do this every morning!!!

Some quotes which inspired me personally

“Self-Love is not to be nice to everybody”

“Repetition is the mother of success”

“Lead and treat yourself with love and kindness”

New Ways of thinking / Are you ready to leave your comfort-zone?

Everyone does not have the same view of the world, and their understanding of something may differ dramatically from yours. Attending the workshop made this again so obvious to me. I got a remarkably unique and new perspective altogether from other attendees. Sometimes you can even create something awesome in your career by asking their thoughts or inputs on something you might not even know or have heard of. To grow, we must be open to new ideas, new ways of doing things, or new ways of thinking. It is rightly said that you must learn a new way to think before you can master a new way to be!
