10 Days at Raaya by Atmosphere Resort, Maldives
Join us as we recount the highlights of our stay, day by day, at this resort where our dreams meet reality.
Day 1: Arrival in Paradise
Our adventure to the Maldives began with a scenic water-plane flight from Male Airport, whisking us directly to the Amari Raaya Resort.
Greeted by the warm smiles of the service team and our personal concierge, Sandy, we were escorted to our Beach Pool Villa No. 522. The day concluded with our first steps on the pristine white sands, capped off by a stunning sunset that promised the beginning of an unforgettable stay.

Day 2: Culinary Delights
The morning greeted us with a lavish breakfast at the Amaya Food Gallery Restaurant and a relaxing coffee and Matcha tea session at the Village Café. We spent our afternoon playing backgammon, savoring the leisurely pace of island life.
Day 3: Mangrove Exploration
A guided tour by a local expert, Najid, through the mangrove trees highlighted the importance of these ecosystems in the Maldives. The sight of crabs scuttling along the roots added a touch of wildlife wonder to our exploration.
Day 4: Chinese New Year Festivities
The Chinese New Year was celebrated with a special dinner at the Amaya Food Gallery, where traditional foods added an exotic flair to our culinary journey.
Day 5: Sunset Yoga
A magical moment unfolded as we participated in a sunset yoga Class on the beach. The tranquility of the setting sun complemented the serene yoga session perfectly.
Day 6: Couple’s Retreat – MAAI Spa
We indulged in a relaxing couple’s Thai massage at the Maai Spa Center, a perfect way to unwind and connect in the serene environment of the Maldives.
Day 7: A Change of Scenery & Valentine’s Day Dinner
Transitioning from the Beach Pool Villa to the Ocean Pool Villa brought a new perspective to our stay.
A romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at the Italian Restaurant with a pool view was the highlight, adding a touch of romance to our adventure.
Day 8: Culinary Mastery – Sushi Cooking Class
A sushi cooking class led by the resident chef was a delightful experience, allowing us to perfect our Japanese culinary skills and enjoy a lunch filled with Japan’s cherished culinary delights.
Day 9: Underwater Wonders
Snorkeling in the house reef revealed the vibrant underwater world of the Maldives, a truly mesmerizing experience.
Day 10: Homeward Bound
Our journey concluded with an early morning flight back to Male, carrying with us memories of the sun, sea, and the unparalleled hospitality of Amari Raaya Resort.

- Amari Raaya Maldives can be reached via Manta Airways Sea Plane Transfers as well as Manta Airways domestic Transfers. Manta Airways Domestic Transfers will fly the guests from Velana Internation Airport to Ifuru Airport and from Ifuru Airport, it will be a 15-minute speed boat ride to reach Amari Raaya Maldives.
- Check-in from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM; Check-out from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
- Children of all ages are welcome. The team offers babysitting services at the Kids Club. Cribs and extra beds aren’t available at this property. Any Child below 2 years will be traveling for free with the parents.
